Because Your Loved One’s Honor Is Forever

The wreath has represented honor, remembrance, and eternal life in military and funeral rituals for millennia. The ancient Greeks and Romans placed wreaths on the heads of victorious warriors to acknowledge their endurance, strength, and sacrifice.

Today, the use of wreaths remains a time-honored tradition that conveys great respect and gratitude for each veteran’s service. Placed at the graves and memorials of those who have served the U.S., the wreaths symbolize the lasting memory of a veteran’s resilience and devotion in defending and maintaining our freedom.

Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual Arlington National Cemetery wreath-laying ceremony, which was begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization’s mission – Remember, Honor, Teach – is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at Arlington, as well as at thousands of veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.

Wilbert and You: The Patriot Pair

When you sponsor a Veteran Vault Patriot Pair, two memorial wreaths will be donated each time a family purchases a Veteran Triune® burial vault or urn vault from your establishment.

One wreath will be placed on a veteran’s headstone at an Arlington National Cemetery participation location. The volunteers who place the wreath also will be asked to speak the veteran’s name aloud to further ensure that the legacy of duty, service, and sacrifice is never forgotten.

A second wreath also will be sent to your Funeral Home for presentation to the family for the holiday-season address of their choice.

This initiative offers great meaning for those looking to take part in National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 13, 2025, when more than two million volunteers and supporters will gather at over 4,600 participating military cemeteries , veterans’ memorials and historic sites throughout the U.S.

Beyond commemorating families’ veterans, the campaign further allows Americans to honor the sacrifice of other military families they know as well as share the Wreaths Across America mission both at home and at work.

Funeral Homes & Families: How to Participate

When your family selects a Veteran burial vault or urn vault, your Licensee will notify us, and we will process the Patriot Pair order.

The family’s wreath will be shipped to your Funeral Home, or an address you specify. It will be sent after Thanksgiving but before Wreaths Across America Day on December 13, 2025.

Once you receive the wreath, there are many ways you can honor the family:
