Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. and Suhor Industries Announce Merger

BROADVIEW, IL, April 15, 2014– Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. and Suhor Industries, Inc. announced today an agreement in principle to merge their companies.  Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. would be the surviving corporate entity.  The Boards of Directors for both companies have approved the letter of intent and the transaction will be presented to shareholders at an upcoming meeting.

Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. (WFSI) is a leading provider of burial vaults and cremation-related products.  Suhor Industries, Inc. (SI) is the largest Wilbert licensee, with controlling interest in WFSI.  In addition to Wilbert burial vaults, SI’s funeral industry products include monuments, lawn crypts, columbarium niches, mausoleums and caskets.  SI also produces precast concrete products for wastewater, construction and agricultural markets.
